Sprint

Definition: A sprint is a short, fixed period, usually one to four weeks, in which an agile team commits to completing a set of work from the backlog.

Sprints start with planning, end with a review and retrospective, and give the team a regular rhythm for delivering and learning. They are a core part of Scrum.

Sprints sit below releases: several sprints of work typically make up one release on the roadmap.
