OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)

Definition: OKRs are a goal-setting method in which an Objective states what you want to achieve and two to five measurable Key Results show whether you achieved it.

Objectives are qualitative and ambitious, such as 'make onboarding effortless'. Key Results are quantitative, such as 'raise week-one activation from 30% to 40%'. OKRs are usually set quarterly.

For product teams, OKRs connect the roadmap to business outcomes and make it easier to explain why a piece of work was chosen.
