Stakeholder management

Definition: Stakeholder management in product is the work of keeping everyone affected by the product (leadership, sales, support, marketing, customers) informed, aligned and heard.

Product managers spend a large share of their time on it: roadmap reviews, status updates, answering 'when is this coming?' and explaining why plans changed.

The most effective approach is a single, live source of truth that each audience can read for themselves, with the reason for every change attached, rather than a stream of decks and one-off messages.
