Closing the feedback loop
Definition: Closing the feedback loop means telling the people who gave feedback what happened to it: whether it was planned, shipped or declined, and why.
Customers who never hear back stop giving feedback. Closing the loop shows that requests are read and taken seriously, even when the answer is no.
In practice it means tracking who asked for what, linking requests to releases, and notifying requesters when status changes or the feature ships.
